TN Visa – Mathematician (and Statistician)

NAFTA Requirements for TN Visa as a Mathematician (and Statistician).

To qualify for TN visa status under NAFTA as a Mathematician (and Statistician), an applicant must possess one of the following:

1. A Bachelor’s (Baccalaureate) degree; or

2. Licenciatura Degree;

The term “Mathematician” also includes the profession of Actuary. An Actuary must satisfy the necessary requirements to be recognized as an actuary by a professional actuarial association or society. A professional actuarial association or society is defined as “a professional actuarial association or society” operating the U.S., Canada, or Mexico. 8 C.F.R. § 214.6 (c) and n.5.
