TN Visa – Librarian
NAFTA Requirements for TN Visa as a Librarian.
To qualify for TN visa status under NAFTA as a Librarian, an applicant must possess one of the following:
- Master of Library Science degree (M.L.S.); or
- Bachelor of Library Science degree (B.L.S.).
An individual’s M.L.S. or B.L.S. degree must have required a prior Bachelor’s degree or Licenciatura degree as a prerequisite for entry into the degree program in order for the M.L.S. or B.L.S. degree to qualify the individual for TN visa status as a Librarian. See 8 C.F.R. § 214.6 (c).
